New Warrior
So I met this warrior named Dakoneris. He introduced himself and said he had heard all about me. Usually this gets me worried because I may have sucked the soul out of a cousin, friend, or even a mother. But no he wasn’t here to say anything bad, but to ask for help.
The elf had guts.
Well he is kind of scrawny, purplely, and didn’t have much to call his own. Kind of cute too. I tapped into Ratshag’s immense Warrior know-how to train the kid up.
On my end I will do what I can, so I hooked him up with some bags. And then he had the nerve to ask for gold. Really? Well I guess if you must learn fishing.
Then he keeps following me around… into Westfall straight into Deadmines. I felt sorry for the kid being only 10 seasons and everything. He is such a dainty Warrior.
So after I stopped laughing after he died the fifth time I figured out how NOT to let him get flattened. Honest I didn’t mean for him to get a view of the cave ceiling. It has just been a long while since I have had such a delicate warrior around.
We picked him up some new armor, some things to use soon and some to grow his scrawny elfish self into. He picked up a few other things that I wasn’t paying attention too.
He started to grow on me. He stopped dieing and started showing promise in becoming a much more solid warrior. I waved goodbye and sent him on his way.
He still kept following me…
All the way to Ratchet.
Tenacious guy.
I mean he knew I was coming here… but still. I was not
expecting to baby warrior sit. I mean doesn’t he know I already have My Tank. He is still a bit … dainty.
Then it dawned on me. AURUM.
Aurum did this. She tends to talk a lot. So I only vaguely remember the topic coming up. She has been in a drunken state since she got her Brewfest Pony Keg. Last time I saw her she said something about “Pony Keg will travel.” while sauntering down Stormwind.
This must be one of her new “friends”. She collects them.
The poor sap. (lol… get it Aurum => Rogue => Sap… *wipes tear*)
Well if he is going to play at her level and with her men
friends. Then we better deck him out.
So we head over to Wailing Caverns. Okay. He improved so much since the Deadmines runs. I don’t believe he died once. (Okay maybe once.) We ransacked the place, picking Dak up two shields, belt, bow, and cloak.
My only concern with the whole episode was I kept hearing Night Elves dieing. And with Dak dieing so much in Deadmines I started to get twitchy. Twitchy Warlocks are not… un-dangerous.
But to get Dak ready to jump into WSG as one of Aurum’s men
friends I will have to enlist some help. So I have started a solid foundation
and My Tank and My Mage will finish up the quests with him
while I am on sabbatical.
I am sure I will get reports from Aurum. That girl does chatter. She picks them well though. So I am sure this one will do fine. I just hope he is up to all the competition. This one at least knows how to hold a shield.
Oh and Dak? Don’t forget to wipe the blood off your weapon after Aurum is done with you.
Twinky Tip: WC you can pick and choose the bosses to be killed. Change loot to Master Looter. For Lord Serpentis just have potential twink stand at the bottom of the cliff. This enables the high level to navigate all the way to the boss not having to kill everything along the way. Also minimizing experience points. Kill boss near cliff. Loot as master looter and give the shiny to the right person.
Wanted to note that WSG is not the only thing to look forward too… there is some pretty great competition to look forward too. Oh and dropping down the Graveyard cliff into a premade is called Lemming. It is not graveyard camping if they fall down to you to die.
