Profession Confession
Okay… When Husband and I were picking professions we had no idea what we were doing. Well Husband insisted that he wanted to be an enchanter. As a warlock I wanted to be a tailor (I understood bags in the game and they sounded like a money maker). Then as a silly couple that we are, we split the Herbalism and Alchemy between us.
Husband’s choice of Enchanting and Alchemy really was a beginner mistake. This really put a strain on Husband for money. But he managed it to level 40. We would only borrow money from each other. Our WoW money is not communal. =)
We toiled over this in many a conversation.

To the point that I insisted he drop one of the professions. “No no no… too much time invested.” I was told.
/sigh
Let’s look at this logically. What assets does he have...
1. He is a Rogue. Can stealth pretty much anywhere.
2. Low-level twinking knowledge.
3. Materials for enchants for Azeroth shards/essences/dust have skyrocketed.
I then left Husband to figure it out. Because … well I didn’t have a complete answer.
What he found was Small Radiant Shards. This is used in the Enchant Boots - Minor Speed and Enchant Weapon - Fiery Weapon. After a very quick flight, Husband now pickpockets his way through Uldaman to Ironaya and disenchants him some shards. Also, giving him all the poison mats a Rogue could ever want. (A Steamy Romance Novel shows up in my mail occasionally too.)
And since the instances can be reset, that is what he does and enters again.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
In less than 30 minutes husband use to end up with 2-4 Small Radiant Shards. With new changes to 2.3.0 the amount has increased.
In our auction house they go for about 9 gold a piece. This is one of the many things he has done to get his 60 mount and then his 70 flying mount.
As for the Alchemy…
He is fixing his Alchemy with Master in Transmutation. Something he doesn’t need herbs to make and can farm at will. In ten transmutes of Primal Might only one time he received 3 Mights in one transmute. We will see how this works out.
An additional note to Rogues. Just use the pickpocket macros already. After bugging Husband for months he finally updated all his starting moves to include a Pickpocket. So between everything above, pickpocketing every Ogre in Outlands, and pots from chests he has surpassed me in the epic flying mount saving. I told him just remember he needs twice the amount he needs in gold. Just call it my consulting fee.
………..
I tend to write some posts quite a while before I actually use them. I decided to post this one now because guess what Husband figured out?
[Husband] I have a big favor and you can say no. But I really want you to say yes.
[Me] *looks at him suspiciously* What you want?
[Husband] Well you said you had over 2000 gold right? Well I am at 2500 gold and if you give me your gold I can have my epic flyer by Friday when all my auctions sell.
[Me] *crickets* …
[Husband] And then I can help you get yours! And with the epic flyer I can go around to all the chests faster and do all the things I am doing now… just faster.
[Me] All I have to say is that I have been level 70 since July 2. We will talk Friday.
