Raid Leader
It always amazes me how much work my Raid Leader (RL) (and I am sure any raid leader) puts into these events. He tells stories at the same time keeps the raid on time and honors when the end of raid time approaches.
Through mistaken body pulls, tanks dieing, loss of CCers, miss marks, disconnects, and anything else that could go wrong he keeps his cool. He gives every class their marching orders and answers all the questions as a result.
Not to mention that he has this soothing voice that I was told before going on vent could be used for two things 1) radio or 2) narrate porn. The RL voice combined with the hand full of guys from Australia on Vent … this gal is quite happy to just listen.
In a Gruul’s run we actually wiped on Gruul twice. Since they had Gruul’s Lair on farm before I joined guild it was quite odd for me to experience. This was a while back before we were to eat glass in Mag’s Lair and it didn’t bode well for that adventure if we couldn’t get Gruul down. (It didn’t btw. We didn’t get past the second click. Training clickers is what continued to hold us back.)
[RL] Are you putting your Imp up with the Tanks?
*breaks out in sweat* The RL just whispered me!
*looks at the group I am in” I didn’t realize I was in the group with all the tanks and melee. I should have known to do that.
[Me] Nope. I didn’t realize. I will do that this time.
The RL announces that some changes are made and one being my Imp up with the tanks to get that health. He let everyone know that he didn’t tell Hydra, so don’t all whisper her with threatening remarks. Which I then received a few whispers threatening me with repair bills and the like.
Next attempt of Gruul, Naltog was firmly in place in the middle of the room giving extra life to tanks and melee. Gruul was down.

My Imp was not the only thing that changed. We had some new healers with us and the extra health helped them at least get the heals off before the tank was dead.
