In January, I made resolutions. It is about the middle of the year and I want to assess if I have fallen off.
1. Get Epic
Flyer for Hydra in January. Done
2. Iridium
to earn her Insignia of the Horde. Done
3. Aurum to
earn her Alliance Battle Standard. Done
4. Hydra to get into Kara to get the Wicked Witch's Hat…well by October…maybe. It will NEVER drop. *cry* I am asking to be swapped in Kara raids just for the Opera event. Guild has been nice enough to oblige.
5. Hydra to cull through her hats. Nope, it looks like I maybe opening my own guild bank. Fabulous. I need to find a guild name. This is made more pressing since as we are starting to raid higher level boss fights and I need more resist gear.
6. Level at least one other character to level 70. I do not have one other toon past level 29. Need to pick one or three. =)
7. Blog less and comment more. I am blogging less, but commenting? Not so much. I never feel like I have anything helpful to add except being excited and congratulating people.
8. Get more
involved in guild chat for my non-Main toons. I have been doing this. It is hard to work
on. Most of my alts are twinks which I am an officer of the guild. My other
toons are guildless. The only other active guild I am a member of is AC
where I am only level 22. =/
9. Run instances with others. Have NOT been doing 5-man instances at all. Have not even done the Champion of Naruu instances. I need to start doing then again. It was a restart when I was pulled into a normal MrT run to finish the last two bosses. I even saved the day by finding a healer for the last boss when ours had to go. Forgot how much fun they are to complete and struggle through.
10. Continue my evil endeavors in the guise of “farming”. Constantly!! Ongoing quest, I realize it is more of a reminder then a resolution.. I have broken out of the “Do your dailies!” that Blizz has done for us. I enjoy farming trees or primals. I do dailies if I am moved to do them only. This gets me out and about and it is amazing how many Horde know me around Azeroth. >.< /hug
I had a good start, but like all of these things it has tapered off.
I still have work to do. I think I am going to concentrate on leveling a character and running 5-mans.
I told my guilds, I told the Horde, I told my friends but I didn’t care if anyone else showed up. I was too excited to be there myself. Hydrargyrum the level 1 Tauren on Cenarion Circle realm arrived about an hour early. What a sight to be seen. There was a walking conga line of purple shirted Tauren.
Once I joined the RODB channel I was immediately greeted by Ratter, which made me even more excited about being there.
Of course I immediately asked if there was still a purple shirt left. The charmer said he saved one just for me. *blush* He must say that to all the girls.
While looking around I found the back of someone who looked a bit familiar.
It was quickly time to start. When Husband asked me where I was I just let him know I was the level 1 Tauren in the purple shirt…
We ran past Orgrimmar fairly quickly. Some runners were taken down.
But my favorite had to be the Zeppelin tower. Seeing that sea of purple shirts funnel into the tower.
All I could think of was “How many Tauren can you fit into a Zeppelin?”
It then turned badly for me. I died and was separated form the herd. A spider in Hillsbrad Foothills got me. I have to say that getting a message from Ratter lifted my spirit.
Bahahaha *clears throat*
Anywho…
I never made it to Hammerfall. I kept dieing. Husband passed me at this point and look who he saw…
Luckily I had roving reporters that gave me front line news to report and pictures attached.
The herd quickly turned to other endeavors… like going to Ironforge and Stormwind to go kill Hogger.
But the first step was getting to Ironforge. Many were not so lucky.
I didn’t make it to Ironforge. But I did get a chance to get a glimpse of another Brk.
Husband made it to the Tram! I wonder what that Draenei was thinking seeing all the Tauren around.
It was a great time. The shear awesomeness of all the people who participated made this fun. I was glad to share it with so many friends.
/moo
I had a late start to the BRK Naked Gnome Race... but I arrived!
ILoveRatshag made her debut at the starting line with the rest about 5 minutes ahead.
I only died once since most everyone killed what was ahead of me. Skeletons were everywhere!
As any good Lock knows it isn't a party until a Doomguard is summoned.
I got a glimpse of BigRedKitty just before he left us.
So I caught up with him in Shatt.
Gnome gathering... is that an Infernal I see?? Another great lock party gift.
Dead Gnomes in Shatt.
It was fun... even being late. I saw 142 people in the gnakedgnomerace channel.
I laughed when BigRedKitty anounced...
<70:Bigredkitty>: ZOMG if you do the Canon, you're on your own.
In not any particular order:
1. Get Epic Flyer for Hydra in January. (I know short term but I need to stay focused)
2. Iridium to earn her Insignia of the Horde.
3. Aurum to earn her Alliance Battle Standard.
4. Hydra to get into Kara to get the Wicked Witch's Hat…well by October…maybe.
5. Hydra to cull through her hats and keep only a few, bank space is becoming a REAL issue. I am NOT to replace them with non combat pets.
6. Level at least one other character to level 70. I currently have 3 in the running and none are over level 22.
7. Blog less and comment more.
8. Get more involved in guild chat for my non-Main toons. Except Iridium… she would be talking to herself…but not for long.
9. Run instances with others, outside the “core group” to learn playstyles and improving my skills. Primarily with the two other guilds we have an alliance with so I don’t just stay a name in chat.
10. Continue my evil endeavors in the guise of “farming”.
These are not my “Progression” resolutions but things that I am going to do for the shear fun of the game. What do you want to accomplish in your next WoW year?
Hope you have a happy holiday in Azeroth and Outland.
May your travels be on epic mounts and may your blessings (or evilness depending on your preference) be many.
If that is not your speed check out BBBB Raid Song of the Week to get you in the spirit.
Nada. Nada a thing dropped of any use. We geared every guild member wanting to come kill the Headless Horseman with their appropriate rings. All the way down to the level 21 hunter.
But a second helm for another Warrior.
Pfft.
He laughed at us. We will get her something else but dang that would have been nice.
*hugs and kisses*
With just one more night left Wrathbone finally got The Horseman's Helm to drop. We ripped that right of his head this time. All I have to say is … thank goodness that laugh is on a cooldown!
But enough about the tank. Looked what dropped for me! Oh yea… I am rocking a Sinister Squashling
Yes he is as tall as I am. But then he rolls up into just the head!
Let see if we can get another helm to drop tomorrow for our other plate wearers.
From the cutest Gnome on a broom! Don’t puke on to many Tricky Treat.
